SUMMARY:2024 Camp FRIEND Interest Form
DESCRIPTION:Please fill out our 2024 Camp FRIEND interest form. Our Camp Director will then review the applications and then we will send acceptance letters through email to those who are accepted. Our Camp Director may contact you with questions regarding your child’s needs.  Please return the phone call or text promptly. If accepted the parent will need to fill out a full camper registration form with additional information needed. \nCamp FRIEND is for individuals with an autism spectrum diagnosis living in Mahoning\, Trumbull\, or Columbiana counties only. It is a social and recreational camp\, not academic or therapeutic. Camp FRIEND serves individuals ages 5 through 19 years old. The dates for 2024 are the week of June 24-28 and the week of July 15-19.  Drop off times are 8:30-9am and pick up times are 2:30-3pm. Families can apply for one week or both weeks.  Cost per week is $99 (FSS funds and other county DD funds can be used). Camp FRIEND will be held at the Jewish Community Center\, Youngstown. Individuals can attend with their RBT if they need 1:1 support. \nWe also will be accepting a few neurotypical peers per week. Neurotypical peers are often kind and caring siblings of those attending camp but can be other children as well.
