The Mahoning Valley chapter of the Autism Society of America was founded by local families in 1989 to supporting families in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for families living with an ASD diagnosis, and to bring about community change and opportunities for individuals working through life with this disability. Our volunteers are dedicated to accomplishing this through information and referral, family support, advocacy, professional development, raising awareness and resource development.
Mahoning Valley Office
The mission of the Autism Society of Mahoning Valley is to improve the lives of all affected by autism. In the tri-county area that is more than 6,000 families!
Navigating autism services, making friends, finding a job and achieving independence can be challenging for a family impacted by autism. Through the efforts of our network of volunteers, we are working every day to create opportunities and options that will improve the quality of life for individuals and provide parents the support they need to navigate a complex service system. To continue to do this important work we rely heavily on the generosity of people like YOU!
Tomorrow, November 29th the entire nation will be celebrating Giving Tuesday by supporting causes they believe in with their donations.
When you are donating, please remember our families and the work of the Autism Society. With your help we can continue to build awareness about the impact of autism and offer help to those in our community who live on the spectrum.
Let's work together to ensure that individuals with autism and their families will always have a place to turn for help.
